Honoring Alvin’s Legacy

Our long-time director Alvin Phillips retired at the end of 2023. In his honor, a fund was established at the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation to continue to provide assistance to Habitat. Gifts may be made to Habitat for Humanity MOV Legacy Fund in Honor of Alvin & Jeanie Phillips.

Meet Robin Stewart, Executive Director

Robin Stewart is no stranger to Habitat, as she takes on her new role as Executive Director of Habitat MOV.

For nearly six years, Robin has served Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Ohio Valley as its Director of Resource Development. In that role, she has led Habitat’s fundraising and community engagement efforts. Prior to her tenure at Habitat, Robin was a grants administrator and foundation officer at Marietta College where she managed a grant portfolio of over $2 million. Earlier in her career, Robin spent more than a decade working at the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University. While at Ohio University, she was a Senior Project Manager overseeing community economic development projects and assisting nonprofit organizations with strategic planning, fundraising plans, and other operational needs. Robin currently serves on the board of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Robin is a native of Marietta, Ohio where she graduated from Marietta High School and Washington State Community College. She also holds degrees from Capital University and Ohio University.

Robin enjoys being on the sidelines watching her teenage daughter Maya play the sports that she loves.
