Women coming together to build stronger, safer communities

We are excited to have you be a part of Women Build 2025!  Together, as a community, we are building a house with the Pisula family.  The house is being constructed at 3617 Plum St., Parkersburg, WV.

It takes many hearts and hands to build a Habitat home, and this house is no different.  Over the course of this project, community volunteers will dedicate over 1,500 hours of service to build the home.  Thank you for being a part of it and for making a lifelong difference for the Pisula family.

Here are ways you can get involved with Women Build 2025

  • Become a construction volunteer!  To volunteer, start by signing up to become a Women Build volunteer.  Construction is happening most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and will begin mid to late January. Once the site is ready for volunteers, we will coordinate with you or your group regarding your volunteer build day.

  • Provide lunch for construction volunteers! If you’d rather help behind the scenes, you (or your group, business, or organization) can provide lunch for our volunteers. Just send an email to Ammie Rasmussen to make arrangements!

  • Become a Habitat MOV donor!

  • Become a Women Build House Sponsor!
